Website design for the austrian band Mimi Secue. The challenge of the task was to create a design that would fit the minimalistic and melancholic beauty of Mimi Secue’s music.
I decided to create a simple yet elegant design featuring a couple of dynamic elements: the website header would be generated differently each time – according to date and time, incorporating various images of clouds and skies.
Also, the website’s “logo” was created generatively: with each page load, a script would compose a new logo made of 7 squares – symbolizing the band’s refusal of classic branding strategies, as well as their form as a creative collective with no fixed set of roles.
The website is currently offline, due to the band’s status as being in a process of change. May be relaunched any time soon.
