This work is based on photographical footage of crowds, which I took in Vienna and Paris.
I wanted to document, thematize and visualize the ways and forms of movements in so called public spaces in these cities. The theoretical project concept deals with issues of individualism, serialism and public spaces in general.
The figures in the original photos where pathed and cropped and then arranged according to various parameters, resulting in images and an experimental Jitter engine to create images generatively.
